[68] Lott Tripp

  1. Lott Tripp of Dartmouth, Massachusetts was a son of Ebenezer Tripp and Catherine Tripp (both great-grandchildren of John Tripp who was one of the founders of Portsmouth, Rhode Island). Lott’s grandfather’s were named Ebenezer Tripp and Benjamin Tripp. Lott Tripp of Dartmouth, Massachusetts disappeared from Dartmouth. Lott Tripp of Penfield, Monroe County, New York had two sons – named Benjamin and Ebenezer. Records for other men named Lott Tripp, who were contemporaries of Lott Tripp of Dartmouth, can be linked between their early lives and later lives. Therefore, it appears highly likely that Lott Tripp of Dartmouth was the same man as Lott Tripp of Penfield.
